Complete, Inc. was proud to be asked by Gulf Breeze, Florida property owner Lane & Susie Gilchrist to restore their home following damage incurred during Hurricane Ivan in September 2004. The floodwaters from Ivan had reached into the first floor of this elevated property, causing the stone chimney to collapse as the deck washed away during the storm. The winds from Ivan filled the structure, causing the gable ends to blow out at the east and west elevations. The roof was damaged and a large tree had impacted the property.

Complete was brought in immediately to remove the tree from the house, provide a temporary roof and secure the valuable antiques and collectibles treasured by this long-time Gulf Breeze family.

The restoration of this property required the replacement of the roof, solid bracing, the gable end walls and exterior siding. All windows were replaced with Andersen® windows, with careful attention to the copper through-wall flashing at each opening. The interior finishes were installed with a custom drywall application called knock-down, to the delight of the homeowner. The hardwood floors, cabinets, fixtures and solid surface counter tops were replaced with attention to detail and an eye for quality installation. Complete General Contractors, Inc. is proud to be of service to this family, and look forward to our friendship for years to come.
