National Hurricane Center Tracking Atlantic’s Second Tropical Depression, Two Tropical Waves
The second tropical depression of the Atlantic Hurricane Season has formed, according to the National Hurricane Center. The NHC is issuing advisories on the depression, which is located in the far east tropical Atlantic. The NHC’s 11 am (EDT) advisory included a five-day track forecast cone that showed the depression possibly becoming a tropical storm by Wednesday morning. Also, the NHC is watching two tropical waves near the Windward Islands and Lesser Antilles. For more information including further updates visit the National Hurricane Center.
